Texas Crab Festival
This multi-day festival on the Texas Coast (Crystal Beach) has many expected activities like crab races and a 5k/1k event along with tournaments for cornhole, horseshoes, and washers. There is also a wiener dog race and a 2-step contest and even a youth media contest for poster design and photography.
The important part though for us is the crab gumbo contest and an eating contest on Saturday featuring crab/boudin balls. The events page lists things out while the music page has the bands and set times (evenings for Thus-Fri, all day for Sat).
